Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information BeReady ("the app") uses and why. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under them.

1. Information on your phone

Your practice data (answers, scores, saved questions, mock test results, reading progress) and settings (language, text size, theme) are stored in the app's storage on your own phone. They are not sent to us. You can delete them at any time with Profile → Reset progress, by clearing the app's data, or by uninstalling the app.

2. Help & support requests

When you send a request, we receive the topic you chose, your message, the email address you give for our reply, a reference number, and basic technical details (app version, language and phone/browser type) that help us fix problems. We use these only to answer and resolve your request.

3. Sign-in and payments

The app currently has no sign-in. If sign-in or paid plans are introduced, we will update this policy before they go live. Payments in the Android app are handled by Google Play; we never receive your card, UPI or bank details.

4. What we do not do

We do not sell or rent your personal data, we do not show advertisements, and we do not use third-party analytics or tracking tools.

5. Service providers

The app is hosted on Google Firebase. Help & support requests are stored in our Google Cloud Firestore database in Mumbai, India, and a copy is delivered to our support inbox by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), an email-forwarding service. Fonts load from Google Fonts. These providers process data only to provide their service. Links to official websites (tgprb.in, slprb.ap.gov.in) and textbook websites open in your browser under their own privacy policies.

6. How long we keep data

Support requests are kept for up to 12 months after the request is closed and then deleted, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Practice data stays on your phone until you delete it.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or erase the personal data we hold about you, withdraw your consent, or nominate another person to act for you, through Help & support in the app. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

8. Security

All connections use HTTPS, and only the people who answer support requests can see them.

9. Age

The app is meant for police recruitment candidates aged 18 and above. Anyone under 18 should use it only with a parent's or guardian's consent.

10. Not a government app

BeReady is not affiliated with, and does not represent, TGPRB, AP SLPRB, the Governments of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh, or any government body.

11. Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the new version in the app and on our website with a new date.
